About Us

We’re Chocolate Thimble, and we’ve been a candy store and bakery here in Huntertown, IN, since 2010. Everything is handmade in-house, and we offer chocolates, caramels, fudge, custom cupcakes, retirement cakes, wedding tastings, and more. We started this business because we wanted to share our amazing family recipes with the community. We’re looking forward to partnering with Allen, Huntington, and DeKalb counties to continue providing a variety of high quality products. Our Story

Chocolate Thimble has been Huntertown’s delicious treat and bakery staple since 2010. There is nothing more important than pleasing our customers, and we do this by offering the tastiest desserts available to our local community members. Our various treats are handmade and our old-fashioned techniques ensure everything we offer is of the highest-quality and made fresh.

Owner Amy DeBolt and her mother started a small operation out of their home many years ago and jumped at the opportunity to bring their recipes to a storefront. Since opening the doors of Chocolate Thimble, strong relationships have been created with their customers through exceptional desserts and great service. As the demand for our products has grown, so have we! Our second location, Chocolate Turtle, is located at 101 S Main St in Churubusco, IN, and was created to conveniently serve our customers throughout the area.

We specialize in customized desserts, including chocolates, popcorn, cupcakes, cake pops, and even special event cakes. Our team is dedicated to ¬providing handmade cakes, cookie, cupcakes, and many other sweets that our community members love. We work hard to turn sweet dreams into a reality and are capable of creating chocolates, candies, and cakes to meet your needs, as we look forward to new creative challenges.
